Welcome to the first blog post on Chris Hind Entertainment Productions.
Once upon a time, I had a weekly blog on my workpress site that predated this one.
Perhaps I’ll resurrect some of those blogs from time to time because I thought they were pretty good. But I am biased.
Since this is the first blog, it will be an all-encompassing FALL 2025 blog so I can get you all caught up.
What a year it’s been! I don’t know about you, but I am ready for the year of the snake to be over because I’m tired of shedding my old skin. Time to move forward with the horse and get shit done.
Some of you would have been aware that I went on a hiatis of sorts for the duration of 2025.
I did do some projects for dear friends and colleaugues (yes I’m talking about you Brishkay) but I needed space to finally finish and clear-out some long-term creative works. Some of the projects have been giving me the stink eye for years and I gave it right back. And as I approach the end of 2025, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and the finish line is mere steps away.
So, here’s a recap of the highlights of 2025.
The main focus of Chris Hind Entertainment Productions has always been music and sound and 2025 was no exception.
I worked on three projects with long-time friend and collaborator Brishkay Ahmed who has really come into her own this past year as a Writer, Director and Producer. It’s not that she’s just getting started, it’s that she is finally getting the credit and success that she deserves.

“ " When an unexpected situation leaves new settler Leila unable to be intimate with her Afghan husband, she finally experiences something she’s been quietly craving: one uninterrupted night of rest. But her refusal unsettles the fragile balance of her marriage, creating a rift that she shares with Mona—her spirited upstairs neighbor. Mona, bold and determined to seize new possibilities in this unfamiliar land, encourages Leila to speak openly about the tensions brewing in her new home. What begins as a casual conversation between friends slowly becomes something bigger: a reckoning with everything they were taught about womanhood, marriage, and obedience. As their friendship deepens, so does their awareness of the subtle freedoms around them—freedoms they hadn't realized might actually belong to them, too.
This play is a portrait of migration, female agency, and the private rebellions that happen far from public view. Audiences can expect an intimate story about sisterhood, culture shock, and transformation—told with heart, and hope. “
My role was original music and you can hear a medley of the score on my composers demo.

“ Writer-director Brishkay Ahmed’s In the Room is a visually stunning, informative, and deeply personal exploration of cultural identity and resilience. Told from Ahmed’s perspective as an Afghan expat, the film traces her journey from rejecting her heritage — which she initially connected with victimhood — to embracing it in a celebration of the heroism of Afghan women.
Featuring documentary subjects Nelofer Pazira-Fisk, Vida Samadzai, Sahar Parniyan, Mozhdah Jamalzadeh, and Shogofa Sediqi, Ahmed’s film weaves images of the past and present into intimate interviews, creating a rich, layered portrait of these women’s lives. The subjects’ voices are compelling and heartfelt, making the experiences both powerful and urgent, and Ahmed’s cinematography captures the raw beauty of these stories, reflecting 35 years of courage and perseverance. In the Room is an important film that reminds us that human rights are fragile and must be actively protected. “
This one was bit different for me as I was brought in to create specialized additional sound effects and worked under longtime collaborator and sound guru Doug Paterson, Big World Sound. Very pleased and honoured to be part of this project which has just finished the festival circuit.

Not a bad year so far!
But wait there is a lot more.
I just got my manuscript back from the editor and “GIRL”, the first book of my The Fruit of Yggdrasil fantasy trilogy, will be released early 2026.
I am currently working on the final track of my first ever solo album which will also be released early 2026.
And I’ve finally finished my online scriptwriting course “Scriptwriting for Aspiring Writers” which will be up and running early 2026.
That’s it, that’s all. There is much more to come in 2026 as I turn to other projects that I have now made room for.
This blog won’t be seasonal. I just did it this way to catch you up.
See you. next time.
